A Memorial Stone Symbolizing the Construction Launch of CJSC Lunnoye Enterprise is Laid in South Yakutia
On July 21 as part of the visit of the official delegation of OJSC Atomredmetzoloto a memorial stone laying ceremony to commemorate the launch of construction of CJSC Lunnoye set up jointly by OJSC Atomredmetzoloto and OJSC Zoloto Seligdara took place in Yakutia.
In the presence of the President of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) V.A. Shtyrov, CEOs of OJSC Atomredmetzoloto and OJSC Zoloto Seligdara two stone obelisks were laid: one of them symbolizes mining of gold, and the other one — mining of uranium.
The memorial stone laying ceremony was attended by General Director of OJSC Atomredmetzoloto V.L. Zhivov, first deputy General Director of OJSC Atomredmetzoloto T.G. Khachatoruv, General Director of CJSC Elkon GMK V.A. Servetnik, Managing Director of CJSC Elkon GMK A.P. Morozkin, Chief Engineer of the project of FGUP VNIPIPT V.M. Palenov and others.
The plans and objectives of CJSC Lunnoye were presented to V.A. Shtyrov and other guests by the General Directors of OJSC Zoloto Seligdara A.N. Labun and CJSC Lunnoye P.F. Dzhulai. Here in 2009 a heap leaching plant with a capacity of 200,000 tons of ore processing per year will be constructed. According to the design, the enterprise will become operational in 2011.
The construction of CJSC Lunnoye enterprise commenced as a result of productive cooperation of the state company OJSC Atomredmetzoloto and a private company OJSC Zoloto Seligdara in Aldan District of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
The primary area of CJSC Lunnoye’s operations will be mining of gold by heap leaching with associated mining of uranium.
