Stroganov Academy hosts presentation of hard-copy version of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. annual report
The Stroganov Moscow State Academy of Arts and Industry hosted a presentation of the hard-copy version of the ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. (JSC Atomredmetzoloto) 2010 annual report on October 27, 2011, as part of a campaign to promote corporate accountability.
Works from Russian artists Olga and Oleg Tatarintsevy, who are continuing a tradition of using so-called uranium glass to create works of art, were used in the preparation of the report this year. For this reason, an assembly hall at the Stroganov Academy was chosen as a venue for the presentation, as this is the institution where the Tatarintsevy teach.
As part of its CSR policy, ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. is developing cooperation with higher education establishments. As a result, at the presentation it was announced that two students at the Academy, studying work with glass, would receive personal grants from JSC Atomredmetzoloto.
After the official part of the event representatives from State Corporation Rosatom, ARMZ, partner companies, the investment banking community, charity organizations and the mass media heard a lecture on the history of the Academy, visited its main departments and museum, and also tried their hand at painting on glass, under the direction of Olga Tatarintseva.
ARMZ Uranium Holding Co. plans to continue its campaigns to promote the Company’s annual reports in the future.
