“Ecoline”and “ARTnova” make the shortlist of the competition for the best social projects in Russia
On November 14, 2013, by decision of the organizing committee of the Annual National Program “Best Social Projects of Russia 2013,” initiated in support of the Russian Federation Governmental course towards the strengthening of social policy on the basis of partnership between the state, society and private business, the shortlist of the national competition was joined by two projects implemented within the scope of the Corporate Social Responsibility program in place at ARMZ: the Youth Educational Forum “Ecoline” in the “Educational and Informational Programs” nominating category, and the Youth Creative Project “ARTnova” in the “Youth Support and Development” nominating category.
The primary objective of the competition is to direct public attention towards the topic of social responsibility, as well as to promote and duplicate the best social practices among members of the business community, society, the state and the mass media. The hosting of events within the framework of the program gives companies and non-profit organizations the opportunity to showcase their social projects and programs, thereby increasing public awareness about the efforts being made by individual organizations in Russia’s social sphere.
Tallying of the results and announcement of the competition winners will take place on February 24, 2014.
The “Ecoline” and “ARTnova” projects are being implemented jointly by ARMZ Uranium Holding and JSC PIMCU over the course of three years. Since October 2011, they have featured the participation of more than three thousand people. In 2013, both projects went regional.
