JSC Atomredmetzoloto Wins in Best Annual Report Idea and Design Nomination
On March 19, 2014, within the framework of the Energy Risk Management International Conference, a high-profile ceremony for awarding winners of the 10th Annual Report Competition among companies of the fuel and energy sector took place.
An Annual Report is a major document, reflecting results of company’s corporate governance and financial and business operations. It serves as the primary source of information for shareholders, investors and partners. Credibility of data revealed in an Annual Report is especially valuable.
From year to year, companies are increasingly interested in obtainment of unbiased and independent assessment of their Annual Reports. For the tenth time, EnergoRynok Magazine is holding competition of Annual Reports and corporate websites between energy companies, thus contributing to the enhancement of the Russian energy industry transparency.
In 2013, companies of the fuel and energy sector, energy infrastructure organizations, major electricity consumers, power and electrical machinery producers, as well as work and service suppliers for the electric power industry participated in the competition.
JSC Atomredmetzoloto became a winner in the Best Annual Report Idea and Design nomination.
A distinguishing design feature of the JSC Atomredmetzoloto 2012 Annual Report was the use of the Future 238 concept aimed at demonstrating various prospective applications of uranium. 238 is a round-off number of atomic mass of uranium. Each section of the report is preceded by presentation of the most advanced projects using uranium and nuclear energy. Breathtaking graphics features ‘uranium future’, e.g. a nuclear-powered locomotive, an atom space probe, or a passenger vehicle powered by nuclear fuel.
JSC Atomredmetzoloto repeatedly became a nominee and winner in various public accounting contests yearly held by ROSATOM State Atomic Energy Corporation, Moscow Stock Exchange, Expert RA rating agency, stock market, which proves the company’s successful operation in the area of the atomic industry information transparency.
