Social and Economic Partnership Agreement signed between Government of Kurgan Region and JSC Dalur
JSC Dalur is one of the region’s thirteen enterprises with positive production index registered. “The industrial sector has always been a flagship of socio-economic development of the Kurgan Region. Who else but the industrial sector should demonstrate exemplary social efficiency, taxation discipline and work aimed at new job creation,” said Sergey Pugin, Deputy Governor of the Kurgan Region.
Within the framework of this agreement, JSC Dalur confirmed the trend towards further increase of production potential. It is expressly declared in the agreement that the volume of investment in upgrading and developing the enterprise will amount to 608.5 roubles in 2014. Herewith, the output volume will be no less than 1.7 bln. roubles. “Major share of funding will be channelled into development of the Khokhlovskoye and Dalmatovskoye deposits. The local sorption streak of the Ust-Uksyansky reservoir within the Dalmatovskoye deposit is fully prepared for increasing uranium extraction in 2014–2015. At the local sorption installation of the Central reservoir within the Khokhlovskoye deposit, two additional sorption pressure columns will be erected; a sodium nitrite dissolution unit and a productive solution passivation unit are being under construction there. It is planned to mine no less than 60 tons of uranium at the Khokhlovskoye deposit in 2014 and to achieve annual uranium output of 600 tons of uranium by 2017,” said Nikolay Poponin, Director General of JSC Dalur.
The uranium mining enterprise also guaranteed that all 447 jobs would be maintained in 2014 and average remuneration would amount to 36,900 roubles. The Kurgan Region Government undertook to render feasible assistance in supporting and furthering production capacity of the enterprise.
