As a part of experience sharing program of Russian mining companies, representatives of Atomredmetzoloto and its affiliated uranium mining enterprises visited Uralkali and Vorkutaugol
The delegation visited the largest mine of Uralkali - BKPRU 4, as well as subsidiaries of Vorkutaugol - Vorkutinskaya mine, Komsomolskaya Mine and Vorkuta Mechanical Plant. The delegation of Atomredmetzoloto primarily studied the experience of its colleagues on the creation and operation of access control systems at production facilities, systems for personnel health control at admission to work, as well as positioning and automated timecard systems. Currently the similar project is being developed for implementation at Priargunsky Industrial Mining and Chemical Union, also a part of ARMZ Uranium Holding Co.
"It is natural that the experience of our colleagues is vital for us. Therefore, we not just took a look at the facilities, but also came all the way from the checkpoint to the entry into mine to evaluate the convenience of access control systems", - said deputy chief engineer of PIMCU Ivan Kiselev.
Development and implementation of automated access control system at the facilities of PIMCU will significantly improve operational safety, reduce injuries and accidents at work. The main objective is to deny admission to hazardous industrial facilities for employees with identified deviations from blood pressure and temperature norms, and, most importantly, for those in a state of alcoholic intoxication or withdrawal syndrome.
